Miscarriage?

I took the MAP mid cycle last month, had my period normally 2 weeks later on time. I had been feeling a bit odd since then, I did wonder if I was pregnant despite the above but test was negative (taken sunday). My second period turned up yesterday, a week early and on the second day (today), I passed some clots that were not blood clots but actual cell structures, one like a tiny pouch with a tiny darker bit in the middle (sorry if tmi). I'm in a decent amount of pain and the period is heavy. Is this a miscarriage or just the MAP messing things up (although doesn't explain clots, unless just uterus shedding lining?)? Not that I can do anything about it all but wonder what people think.

I would say unfortunately that what you're describing does sound a lot like a gestational sac. I would venture googling to have a look at pictures of what an early miscarriage would look like. When I had one (well, never actually passed the sac myself, as it was a missed miscarriage that didn't complete on its own and I needed a d&c), I did exactly that so I could have an idea of what I would see and what to expect. It's not unusual to have weird periods after MAP as it can screw with your body a bit, but I wouldn't expect to see anything like what you've described. Sorry, I don't know if that's the answer you were hoping for. Either way I would get yourself checked out just in case, especially if you are still bleeding or continue to be in pain.
