Nope, I measured 39 weeks at 30 weeks and had a seven pound baby!

These things are not at all accurate. Do you think your dates might be wrong?

Otherwise, don't worry!

No dates seem pretty accurate.

I am overweight but she said nothing to do with it!

You might have a lot of water. Did your sizing scan show your dates were right???

ceolas · 19/04/2007 19:18

Yes scan agreed with dates. Now they are panicking as last baby (this is number 4) was 10lbs!

GTT booked for 28 weeks

Don't worry. At least they're keeping an eye on it and not just telling you it'll be fine.

Will they induce at 40 wks if it looks big???

I measured a few weeks ahead and ds came out at 38 weeks weighing 9lb 6oz, so it was correct for me, i put a similar post on at the time and everyone said "oh no that doesnt mean anything"...it did for me! lol

i measured big from 22 weeks. had 6lb 11oz baby. b

At least it is only 3 cm bigger than it should be, anyway I think most midwives don't measure until 28 weeks as it is not as accurate before that.
