Heading for our 30 week scan later today due to low placenta, blood clot and some bleeding around 25 & 27 weeks. Mind is doing overtime as too what they will say!

Anybody had a similar situation?

I've had additional scans at 28 and 34 weeks

Placenta and bleeding issues can effect growth, so they've primarily been checking that the baby is growing and plotting along the same centile line, as well as looking at the baby's blood pressure in the brain and heart

Good luck!

Hi I know this was a while ago but did everything turn out ok? I'm 25 weeks now and have been spotting since about 21 weeks. Now I'm properly bleeding and passing clots it's so worrying. I also have a low placenta, is this why? Every time I get checked baby is fine.

Hi, everything turned out perfect, my gorgeous curly headed girl was born at a big 8lb3. She starts primary school after the holidays. We have just recently found out that we have another baby on the way! Wishing you all the luck in the world. X

That's so lovely to hear, my son is the same age and starts primary in September too. This pregnancy is so different to the one with him I had no bleeding or anything. It's so worrying as I've had 2 early miscarriages prior to this one. Just hoping everything will turn out fine🤞 and Congratulations!! Wishing you all the best with this pregnancy xx

Low lying placenta can definitely cause bleeding.
