'Morning' sickness or something else?

Sorry this will be tmi.

8 weeks today, last two weeks I have felt nauseous but not close to being sick.

Yesterday had a little anal bleeding after a bowel movement, maybe not relevant. Last night had tummy ache and once in bed felt really bad, tummy churning and painful, nausea, shivering but clammy. At 4 am threw up several times, felt a little better after that but still have bad tummy pains, loose bowel movement and feeling pretty sick again.

I ate out yesterday, nothing I would expect to be a problem. Just wondering though if this sounds like normal pregnancy sickness or if it could be a bug.

I think you have a gastric virus. Just puking can be morning sickness but diarrhoea, fever and vomiting is a d+v bug. There are dozens going round.

Thanks Queen , I just spoke to my doctor on the phone and she said similar! Just sitting it out now.

Doesn't sound like morning sickness to me. Glad you've called the GP.

Thanks Dulwich. As long as this resolves I am quite relieved if it isn't some awful new phase of morning sickness!
