14 weeks and clothes are feeling horrid! Please tell me I can treat myself to some heavenly over-the-bump maternity jeans now?!

I am 10 weeks and in maternity jeans!! Albeit my second baby but YES. Do it!

bettydraper31 · 29/11/2017 12:42

DO it!!

You will feel amazing. I didn’t realise how tight my clothes had become.

I can recommend H&M jeans and Jojo Maman Bebe support leggings just feel bloody brilliant. All the way up to your boobs, you will not look back x

EastDulwichWife · 29/11/2017 12:52

Wahoo! I'm at home today so I'm going to nip out and buy something. 'Up to the boobs' will be my mantra! Grin

I'm 20 weeks tomorrow and at that awkward stage where maternity jeans are way too big, but normal clothes are uncomfortable.
I am living in leggings at the moment.

I have a lovely pair of over the bump jeans just waiting to be worn though!!

bettydraper31 · 29/11/2017 14:45

Haha upto your boobs will see you well!

I’m on baby #2 and “bloomed” much quicker this time around! I’m 18 weeks and been in maternity trousers for weeks now x

ToftheB · 29/11/2017 14:56

I absolutely think you should treat yourself - but I found under bump maternity jeans to be the most comfortable until I got a proper bump at 25ish weeks. After that I started living in my over bump skinnies from ASOS.

Potteryprincess30 · 29/11/2017 15:12

Topshop over the bump maternity jeans are the best, but go a size up as they come up small I think. The ones with the fake button on the fly look the best and their t-shirts/jumpers are much better quality then h&m or ASOS I've found. Only online unfortunately but you can get the things delivered to a store and try everything on there

Oh my lord... these are exceptional. How does one ever get back into regular jeans!?

I went for Mothercare OTB jeans which are really comfy (although the band stays up fine and will def be too small for term).

Huge thanks to all for the encouragement, these are a game changer!

Even once I’d lost my bump I found it hard to put away my over the bump ones as I loved not having a waistband

ICanNeverThinkOfAGoodUsrname · 29/11/2017 17:16

I've got some boohoo.com over the bump ripped jeans that are fantastic, they were a bit annoying to start off with until I had more of a bump to hold them up but now they're lovely!

I also have some Mothercare under the bump, slightly smarter, jeans and I'd really recommend those as well.

I’ve already decided to wear maternity jeans FOREVER after this baby. They are amazing.

bettydraper31 · 29/11/2017 19:02

Glad you found some Dulwich!

georgie262 · 29/11/2017 20:30

I'm 12 weeks with #3 and look 6 months gone naked. Not just my tummy though, my waist is wider, my legs and arse are fatter, no change on the scales though. Surprisingly, I'm not a fan of being pregnant

YummyMummy247 · 29/11/2017 22:58

Just bought some fab leggings from peacocks for my Christmas night out I think they are OTB but I just pulled them right up and they fitted like a glove. Tried on jeans from mothercare and they were so comfy so think I will purchase these when I next get paid! Topshop have a fab range of maternity wear too! Xx

DotCottonIsMyIdol · 29/11/2017 23:07

up to the boobs Grin

My up to the boobs legging now only go half way up at 39+6, it's getting drafty. My OTB jeans were ditched 3 weeks ago when baby dropped as I couldn't sit down in them any more.

Currently rocking Primani mens large joggers (UTB) Blush

EastDulwichWife · 29/11/2017 23:16

OTB leggings are next on the list for lounging around the house. Though realistically, why would I ever take these dreams off..? Grin
