Hi

I really don't know what to do. Around 5pm my right shoulder started hurting. I tried stretching it out etc but it wasn't making any difference and went to bed as usual.

I've now woken up (2:30am) and the pain is excruciating and like I've got a bubble in my shoulder? I've called the delivery suite as per my notes and they've told me that because it isn't a pregnancy issue I should go to A&E.

I explained that I was 25 weeks pregnant and worried it was pre eclampsia and she said again it's not a pregnant issue go to A&E.

What do I do?

I'm not going to A&E seeing as if I wasn't pregnant I'd book a GP appointment.

Am I being a drama llama?

it could be important, possibly gall bladder related and certainly do follow up today with your midwife or gp.

I would go to a&e as she told you. Though you might usually see a gp and it may not be pregnancy related - you are pregnant and need to have anything checked out immediately that could effect your pregnancy.

Could be a sign of Preeclampsia
Have you got any other signs / symptoms?

I would ring them back, in the hope you get someone else
