Hi all,
Well, i'm going into my first birth experience with eyes as open as possible and part of this is an attempt to ditch the fear around labour.
I will be going for hypnobirthing and a water pool but i'm also very open to an epidural if I find it's too painful or a c-section if things go truly tits up. So open to all basically!
Part of the whole 'hypnobirthing' thing is learning what on earth happens during birth and what to expect to take the fear out of it and thus to relax the body etc etc. So i thought a few films/documentaries on birth, what happens from going into labour to actually giving birth etc. would really help with this process and get my husband and I a bit more prepared and in the zone for when things kick off.
Do any of your lovely Mumsnetters have any suggestions for things to watch to prepare me? I'm a little loathe to dive into 'One Born Every Minute' in case the first one i pick is where everything goes horribly wrong!!
Thanks :)
