Just curious if this is actually a pregnancy thing ... I’m just over 9 weeks and constantly cold allll the time Confused

I sit in the office with my coat wrapped around me as all the guys insist of having the air con on 😫 and at home every night I make the other half put the log burner on and I just sit lazy in the living room all evening as the rest of the house just feels like ice even when the heating is on! All my bloods are fine as I’ve not had a call or anything after bloods from booking appointment.

Does anyone else have this or am I just a weirdo 🙈

I've had this with both of my winter early pregnancies (also currently sat here freezing at 12 weeks!) Was absolutely fine the year I was in late pregnancy in winter.

I put it down to the general tiredness and blerghness of early pregnancy, meaning that your body doesn't have the energy to keep itself warm as well as keeping you young generally.

I highly recommend a hot water bottle.

That should be 'keeping you going' rather than keeping you young Blush

Early pregnancy = freezing
Late pregnancy = boiling

For me anyway, and regardless of time of year.

Oh glad I’m not the only one - think I’m going to order a hot water bottle tonight - or an electric blanket! 😂

I am 13.5 weeks and glued to my hot water bottle. I’m working from home as much as possible just so that I can use it! Blush

Same as @RoganJosh. Freeeezing in early pregnancy. Now burning like a furnace (at 40+6 Sad).

QueenAravisOfArchenland · 28/11/2017 13:09

Yep, I had this. I think it may have been partially associated with the fact my BP got quite low in early pregnancy. I'm now 24 weeks and still pretty chilly - hibernating in maternity jumper dresses. I run cold as a rule.

WrittenandGrown · 28/11/2017 20:23

I was cold up to 15 weeks and then it disappeared and I feel normal (for now).

HandbagFan · 28/11/2017 20:23

I’m 14+5 and sitting under a fleece blanket, heating on, toes freezing. I’m hoping it’s normal!

Nat199082 · 28/11/2017 20:27

My hands are so cold I’ve just made a cup of tea mainly so I can sit and hold the cup 😂

I'm not pregnant but it's just freezing cold at the moment, about 5 degrees colder than it should be.

Wispygypsy · 28/11/2017 20:33

Yes! I'm normally cold anyway but it seems much worse now! I've been sneaking the heating on every day while dh is at work and wearing a dressing gown over my clothes when I'm home and not working! I have chillblains on my toes and have been sleeping in a jumper! Don't remember being cold with my last pregnancy (although that was mainly warmer weather).
