Iv recently had two chemical pregnancies two months in a row... on the 3rd month I got pregnant again and I’m now almost 7 weeks along. I had a scan yesterday and all was well. Last night I dreamt that I miscarried. Last time I dreamt of a miscarriage was last time I was pregnant and the next day my bleeding began. So now I’m very worried and wondering if it even means anyhing? Does anyone else dream of miscarriage early on and then carry on being pregnant?

I think maybe because your still in the very early stages it's always a worry at that time anyway. So maybe it's just on your mind? If that makes sense

It's an anxiety dream, nothing more. That you sadly miscarried the day after dreaming you had done so was a horrible coincidence. I had loads of similar dreams in the early stages of pregnancy, and am now 25 weeks. Best of luck Smile

It really, really doesn't mean anything other than that sadly, last time something that you feared might happen, did.

I've had two pregnancies and no miscarriages and I have dreamed that:

  • I miscarried my baby
  • the baby dug it's way out of my stomach through my tummy button
  • my baby was taken away from me by social services because I put the baby in the boot of my car as I had to drive the Kardashians around for the day

None of these things have actually happened.

I think this is an entirely normal anxiety dream. Not pleasant but don't read into it my dear :(

It means that you're afraid you could miscarry, which I imagine isn't a surprise to you.

Anxiety dreams are very common and, unfortunately, so are miscarriages. However, if you've seen a 7-week foetus and heartbeat you've already had a sharp drop in your risk of miscarriage. Don't give the dream meaning it doesn't have - I've had all sorts of weird dreams about pregnancy.

I once had a dream that tiny spiders were trying to steal milk from me. Dreams are just dreams. All it neandis that it's on your money. Don't worry.

Thanks for writing this message, it really made me laugh and stop worrying about my dream!

Pregnancy dreams are messed up try not to dwell on it. Honestly, dreams aren't predictions of the future. They are our brains making sense of things we have been exposed to, worries and concern mixed with what we are picking up from from outside stimuli. Pregnancy is an anxious time for everyone. Try to put it out of your mind. Flowers

As pp said, pregnancy dreams can be really messed up. It's an anxious time and lots of things going through your mind so that's just manifesting itself in your sleep.
I've had some really horrible, vivid dreams but I'm now 23 weeks and baby is fine.

Nope it doesn’t mean a thing, I promise, last pregnancy I had a dream I gave birth to 3 loaves of bread in the middle of aldi. I gave birth to a baby in The hospital!

In all seriousness I know it’s worrying, those dreams are horrible, but I promise you they don’t mean anything xxx

Goodday everyone, I am 5 weeks gone, I just dreamt of miscarriage, I had a miscarriage 2 years ago at 10 weeks. I am really scared right. Has anyone had the same dream and later gave birth to a healthy baby?
