Sometimes tender 'bump' in mornings?

Hi ladies,

Im currently 15 weeks pregnant. Sometimes I have a bit of a sore or tender lower stomach, usually when I wake up. I think it may be from rolling onto my belly during the night and squashing the little bump a bit.

Im never in pain or anything, its more uncomfortable rather than painful. It eases off by the end of the day but it just feels a little 'sore' for lack of a better word sometimes. I spoke to my midwife today (cover midwife as mines on holiday and a student midwife) and they both kind of looked at each other and didn't really say 'its normal' or make me feel better. They just said after a while 'its probably where your uterus is stretching'.

Wondering if anybody else ever experiences this?

I read a long time ago that sometimes after sleeping on one side there could be an accumulation of gas in that area. When you turn on your back or on the opposite side it can hurt like hell. It happens with expectant mothers mostly.
