Dizzy, blurred vision at 14 weeks

I was on the train this morning and it was quite warm. I started getting a hot flush, felt sick, went dizzy and had blurred vision. I had to sit down and drink some water and then got some fresh air when I was off the train and started to feel fine.

Has anyone else experienced this? I was quite worried and I'm not sure who to contact. My midwives operate from my drs on certain days (not today!). Would I contact the epu to see if they think it's anything to worry about?

I’d go to your gp and get your blood pressure and sugar levels checked. Hope everything is ok xx

Anaemia is a likely cause.
But yes, get your ferritin levels checked, glucose, etc.

Thanks, I'll try and make an appointment today. Is this something that the nurse could do as getting an appointment with my GP is notoriously hard.

Nurse can do blood sugar and blood pressure but you’d need to be booked in for a blood test, which is usually something your gp will refer you for. No harm asking the nurse though. :)

@Mrstobe90 I managed to get an appointment with the Dr later today. You mention that you're pregnant and it's like VIP treatment. Before I said that they were saying I couldn't be seen until late next week! Thanks for the advice.
