Pram for fit small car

Hi everyone,

As the subject suggests really! I have a Hyundai i10 so have very limited boot space. We have looked at the Oyster 2 which folds in half and have heard the Mamas & Papas Flip does the same. We would also be interested in it having wheels suitable for a cycle track as we have a dog and walk regularly along there. Does anyone else have any other suggestions/any experience of the Oyster or Flip? We're thinking we'll wait for the January sales for some deals (hopefully mothercare will run a similar one to their free car seat Black Friday deal! We just couldn't bring ourselves to take the plunge just yet as only just had the 20 week scan so plenty of time for buggy buying yet.

Thanks!

And I've just realised the thread title should read *to fit small car 🤦🏼‍♀️🙄

I would say the armadillo flip. I had this with my son and I'm getting another. We have a corsa and it fit in there taking up no space at all. Folds in one so need to take the seat unit off. It's less than 9kg with a huge hood and basket. And the ability to fold while parent facing was a winner. It is that small when folded we used to put it behind the passenger seat if the boot was full and it never caused us any issues. For a small car from birth this is the only pram I'd consider.

I have a VW up (teeny tiny, but I love it!) and have bought the Armadillo Flip XT2.
We looked at the Oyster 2, but I couldn't fold it and fit it in the boot in one piece, but had to detach the pushchair seat from the chassis, which seemed like unnecessary hassle!
The Flip XT2 folds up really small and feels nice and light too. I live close to a forest, so wanted to have wheels which could handle off-road terrain and it also ticked those boxes, so I decided to stop looking and place the order.
For Black Friday, M&P are offering £400 Flip XT2 off a six piece bundle, which is a massive saving. I placed my order last month (when they were offering six piece bundles for the price of four, so effectively the same discount), but it's not being delivered until Jan and M&P said I can cancel my mind at any point until then with a full refund, so figured that way I can still keep my eyes peeled for something better :)
Bit of a long winded response, but I hope this is helpful!

Hi fischer I just thought I'd say that's an amazing deal with mamas and papas. A little fact you can ring the replacement and spares line and order other colour packs. They were about 30 for seat fabric hood harness and chest pads. I love mamas and papas and the multi terrain wheels are amazing. I was a product tester when it was first released and as for parent facing this won hands down, through woods over sand in the lakes everywhere. The flip is stunning

Thanks ladies, this sounds great! Will deffo be taking a look and that deal sounds brilliant, too. Thank you so much!
