First time posting here and a little nervous. So I recently went through fertility treatment as have struggled to get pregnant but had success in September! I have had scans 6 and 8 weeks and all showed heart beat had another scan today at 10 weeks 3 days and baby is growing right on tracks with dates but heart rate is 143 bpm and was wondering if that was a little too low? As have seen others with 160-180 odd I think I’m just a natural worrier haha

I think the heart rate peaks at about 170bpm when the CRL is about 2.5cm and drops as the foetus gets bigger. The range is quite wide - anything 20bpm below or above the average is normal too. So it sounds quite normal to me. Was your doctor/sonographer concerned?

No didn’t seem concerned she said at this stage the range is massive and didn’t show any concern and my CRL was about 3.7cm so guessing it’s all normal?
