So the last few days at work have been bloody hard going, it's a very physical job at the best of times but it's also been manic + short staffed so been horrid.
Yesterday I think I may of over done it in general and didn't even get a break. Then home housework and dinner. Sort DS sch stuff.. You know the general stuff. Which norm OK
Then about 7pm last night thought to myself I hadn't felt much movement, however, also prob because I was so busy.
Around 8pm-1am. Had upset tummy. Didn't feel sick just the other end. Sorry tmi.
Still minimal movement this morning but again have been hectic at work.

All day today my tummy is very tender to touch across the front.. Now my sane head is telling me it's probably because of the upset tummy last night.. It don't feel windy it's between the stomach muscles and my flab lmao.

I. Did make a point of coming home and resting for 45 min in which I did then feel movement

I'm 25 weeks. But not sure if I should ring or just see mw in morning as planned

They would always rather you called. So call.

ZigZagandDustin · 23/11/2017 17:18

Go with your instinct and I think your instinct is to call.

Pandoraphile · 23/11/2017 17:23

Call - don't risk it.

Monkeypuzzle32 · 23/11/2017 17:26

I'd call her but if it helps I'm 35 weeks and my baby doesnt move when Im physically active. Your workplace should have done a risk assessment and be actioning it so you shouldn't be rushed off your feet with no break!

Call her, always err on the side of caution with reduced movements

niknac1 · 23/11/2017 18:01

Call her please

flumpybear · 23/11/2017 18:15

Yes just call it’s not worth the worry

Can you lay down for a bit and have a drink perhaps you’ll feeel more movement if you’re not distracted

DuggeeHugs · 23/11/2017 18:27

Give them a call. I've variously had to go in day before, day after and later same night. They don't mind and it was always worth checking

Unihorn · 23/11/2017 18:47

I had similar, at about 26 weeks and 32 weeks following busy shifts at work. I always went and the baby would always move loads making me feel foolish, but the midwives always said I'd done the right thing anyway. I'm a hospitality manager so no matter what my risk assessment says I can't just have a break and a sit down when I want to.

lost55 · 23/11/2017 18:50

Call now. I waited at 20 weeks and thought I would go in the morning - I didn't have the chance. Do not worry what other people think, go with your instinct.

CinnamonAndSpice · 23/11/2017 18:55

So was just gonna call after dinner. Ate, waiting for dp out shower so laid on sofa and it's been non stop move. Strong g kicks and what I can only guess is doing somersaults. Going to stay chilled out. And see. X

Call them they always advise that if babies movements change or drop at all to call them, think they like it to be around 12 movements a day roughly once a hour at least I wouldn't wait op

Makesmilingyourbesthobby · 23/11/2017 19:07

After you have eaten is when baby will be most active & when you are active you may not notice babies movements, by 25 weeks your baby shoiluld still be moving plenty think its around 32 weeks baby starts to settle down due to lack of space

annlee3817 · 23/11/2017 23:00

Babies movements should not reduce due to lack of space, that's a myth, any change in movements should be checked out always, but they do say to monitor them from 27 weeks. If you're not happy please just call them.

CinnamonAndSpice · 24/11/2017 08:44

Fell asleep last night. I cslled the numinous my notes and they said because had a lot of motivement not to worry too much. However if it decreased to call back.. I then fell asleep.
Woke this morning with some movement.. Have midwife in an hour. So will go thro it all with her too.

Thank you for your replies xx
