11 weeks and not many symptoms - is this a bad sign/low hormones?

Hello

I'm nearly 12 weeks pregnant with my first and have heard the more symptoms you have the stronger your hormones are the healthier baby - is this true?

I have had hardly any symptoms (sore boobs, peeing all the time, vivid dreams, tiredness etc.). I've had no sickness only the odd time I've felt sick...

I know it's natural to worry but it's so hard not to... I just want my first scan out of the way so hopefully I can relax a little.

Has any one else had not many symptoms and everything turned out okay in the end?

I had no symptoms except tiredness until I started to show at 20 weeks; I have a very loud, happy, healthy 4 month old now!

And she was large too, 8lb 12 at 39 weeks. Symptoms are not representative of how healthy the pregnancy/baby is, so enjoy it while it lasts

I've had no symptoms either! Currently 37wks with a very active, healthy little boy!
Although symptoms can be a sign of strong hormones, no symptoms is NOT a sign of anything being wrong.
The time I was throwing up on a daily basis ended up in a late miscarriage sadly.

I don't think that's true at all. I booked an early 10 week scan as like yourself was worried as I was having no symptoms. At the 10 week scan we found out we were having twins! Couldn't believe it. Now 33 weeks touch wood, all going well 2 healthy babies

By 11 weeks all my symptoms had gone.

No symptoms doesn't mean no hormones - it means you're lucky and you're not reacting to them!

There is a small study that says morning sickness can mean a sticky baby because it shows you have hormones. But honestly - symptoms are the WORST predictor of whether you will be fine or not. Some ladies vomit all day and sadly all is not well; others are fine and dandy and it's all fine. You just can't tell.

Keep your fingers crossed, enjoy feeling fine, and remember that you have a far higher chance of having a healthy baby than of anything else happening 🤞🏻

No, it really isn't. I have twin daughters but I had no symptoms of pregnancy whatsoever. Nor did I with my first daughter. I think some people just don't suffer at all.

Don't worry at all! I have never had any pregnancy symptoms at all. No tiredness, sickness, sore boobs etc. That's in 3 pregnancies - one early loss, one child born, and one successful so far! (17 weeks)

Had nausea a tiny bit with my first and barely a thing with my second. They are now 21 and 22 Smile

I always think of it like the pill.
Some people are fine on it, some people react strongly to the hormones (me). It's just your body being you.

(Not saying that your reaction to the pill will be relevant to how you react to pregnancy hormones at all btw! Just a general "no one' the same"
