First pregnancy concerns

Hi I’m looking for advice. I’m currently 24+4 weeks pregnant with my first. I’m also 42 (not sure if it will be relevant) So far I have had a surprisingly symptom free pregnancy and no sickness or cravings. However over the last couple of days I have been feeling incredibly lathergic and achy. Very much like flu symptoms but I don’t think I have a fever. I can feel my little girl kicking about so not overly concerned but I’ve not been able to find anything that suggests this is a pregnancy symptom and I just wondered if it’s something I should be concerned about or just my luck running out with symptoms? Thank you for any help.

You may just have a virus. There is a lot going round. As long as you are still feeling movements I wouldn't be concerned. I would have a very early night and see how you feel in the morning and take some paracetamol.

I was 42 with my first. I thought I was fit and healthy but the strain of I think age, weight gain etc made me so tired I physically couldn’t stay awake after 6pm daily. As long as you still feel movement I’d try not to panic, but I know that’s easier said than done. If you can, rest up as much as able. If your overly concerned, trust your instincts and get yourself check over by GP or if able your mat hospital. Good luckFlowers

I've felt lethargic and achy at different points during my pregnancy. Like pp have said, have an early night, take some paracetamol and see how you feel in the morning. And always trust your instincts because more often than not they're better at detecting something you may not be aware of normally. It's how we found out I was ridiculously dehydrated despite me not having any "proper" symptoms of it.
