Ah no but you'll share it with my best friend's baby!

I had a planned C and it was a doddle for all my dreading it - if you've not had one before make sure you get up and walk down the ward as soon as you can, making yourself walk helps with recovery. I was in the pub having lunch a week or so later (ok so I spent a fair bit of it in the car breastfeeding but still!!).

Lots of luck Grin

Thanks for the reply @Rebeccaslicker.

I had an emergency c section 25 years ago which was some what unpleasant due to large staples and getting an infection. So I’m hoping a planned c section recovery will be less traumatic. 😀

Definitely - techniques have moved on a lot too! I had this magic dressing that had a pump and applied its own pressure to the wound to suck out liquid, it was brilliant. Designed for the army apparently.

You'll be fine Smile
