BBT early pregnancy

Hi, we are currently pregnant after our 3rd fresh round of IVF - I'm just 5w2days. I'm totally terrified of miscarriage having finally got this far, and don't know if I should contact my clinic or not. Reason I'm wondering is that despite no real bleeding (had a spot of blood on progesterone applicator the other day, but nothing else) and only mild cramping, I have been taking my BBT every morning as usual (I have an ava bracelet that does it for you, so it's v easy) and I have noticed a scary downward trend for the last 4 days... Sad
Has anyone tracked their BBT and had this and things be ok? I need some hope... see chart attached. Thanks x

Hi @Hobbes39

Really sorry you're going through this worry. I track my bbt too and after finding I was pregnant carried on. One morning my bbt dropped to cover line so I took a pregnancy test and it was practically negative and I promptly started bleeding. I would've been 5 weeks.

I know bbt can do strange things during pregnancy and they do say to stop tracking it once you get a positive test otherwise you can drive yourself mad.

I would definitely ring your clinic for advice.

Best of luck xx

Thanks for your reply DT2016. I haven't contacted my clinic as I doubt they will do much tbh, as I'm already on progesterone. I think I just have to wait, but wish I hadn't been tracking my temp as otherwise all is ok so far, so I'm hoping it's a red herring, but clearly can be an indicator sometimes. Your post did make me hold my pee this morning and I just did another CB Digi test with weeks indicator. I was prepared for it having dropped down if something was wrong that would be confirmation. I know it doesn't mean all is well, it actually came up with '3+ weeks', having been '2-3 weeks' on Monday. So my HCG has def climbed since Monday, which is reassuring... so I think I'll stop temping now as it's just causing too much stress.. x

Aww I really hope all is well hun. Your pregnancy test sounds promising. The early weeks are so stressful.
Sending good vibes to you x
