Trying to Conceive - PCSO's & Low Ovulation

Hi everyone,

I'm currently on Provera (helps to induce a period) and Clomid.

I've been off the pill for nearly 3 years and I started to realise something wasn't right as I wasn't having a period...... to cut a long story short I was diagnosed with low ovulation levels and PCSOs at the age of 22...... my body also doesn't produce natural periods, which explains why I'm on Provera.

I'm now on my 2nd round of Clomid to help me and my fiancé to conceive. I didn't ovulate on my first round of 50mg and now I'm on 100mg.

I would really like to hear any success stories as it can be so hard trying to keep positive but I know mine and my partners time will come one day 😊

Sprinkling baby dust to all of you out there ❤️

Hi, I was diagnosed with PCOS & stopped my contraception (depo injection) and was pregnant "almost" naturally 6 months later. I tracked my ovulation on an app and took metformin 500mg.. I took metformin the first time and was pregnant that month! I would highly recommend 500mg twice a day of Metformin, maybe along with you're Clomid? I bought mine online on an online pharmacy, I know it's naughty but my doctor said I wasn't entitled to have it on prescription until I had been trying for 2 years. Anyway I also drank lots of water, was very consistent with tracking my periods nd ovulation along with taking my metformin & I also tried evening primrose oil around ovulation to help with fertile mucus - I also checked my mucus around the time I ovulated, and funnily enough that month that i did get pregnant, the day we did the deed was the day I recognised that my mucus was clear and stringy! So keep an eye out for that , and after you Do the deed prop your pelvis up, I've heard this can help.

Sorry about the lengthy post - I really hope it all works out for you! Good luck

Hi,

Thank you so much for this - I love hearing happy endings ☺️
Are you currently pregnant or have you had your little one?

Oooo I might ask my gynie to see if I can be prescribed it, fingers crossed. I'm also going to try fertility reflexology as I've heard really good things ☺️ if not I'll get a nice massage haha x

Hi there x I just thought I would share my experience with you. I too am a PCOS sufferer and had bn trying to conceive for 3 years. After conceiving 3 children very quickly I knew something was wrong it taking 3 years. I was undergoing test with my gynae, and luckily caught that month whilst taking a vitamin called Agnus Castus x I am convinced this helped me conceive 😁 I am now 28 weeks pregnant x good luck and hope everything works out 4 u x

Hi, thank you so much for sharing!

Wow congratulations, I hope your pregnancy is going well? 😊

PCOS is a terror isn't it, I'm defiantly going to give that a go along with reflexology.

This has given me some comfort thank you xx
