Hiya everyone

Due to have my c section tomorrow and had my blood tests this morning and was finally given a prescription for ranitidine. Just sat down to eat my last meal and I need to take one of the tablets at 10pm tonight and 6am tomorrow. Just noticed the medicine I was given was actually ramipril? Are they the same? I was under the impression I was prescribed antacid medication and the leaflet for ramipril doesn't mention any of this?

NO! definitely not the same thing! Is the pharmacy you used still open now? If so please go back and get them swapped!

Just rechecked it! So the leaflet is wrong but the medicine is actually ranitidine! Called the pharmacy to double check and all ok got the right stuff!

Good luck tomorrow. The tablets are antacids but the liquid you'll have tomorrow is vile. I hope tomorrow goes well. Glad your tablets are the right ones x

It's more antacid I'm pretty sure it's a liquid form of renetadine because you can't have water. Or at least that's what I had for my previous 2 c sections
