Feeling too full to eat at only 8 weeks...

Midwife estimated by my last period that I am about 8weeks pregnant...but I’m convinced I’n either further along or carrying twins. I have had a visible bump (to me and DH, had to point it out for others to notice) since “4 weeks” then morning sickness from about day 1, and at “8 weeks” now my bump is the size I was at 12 -16 weeks last time and most definitely noticeable even in baggy clothing.

What’s really troubling me though is that I can’t eat much and feel an urge to retch all the time. It feels like my stomach is full, and when I eat I swear it feels like the food is just sitting at the top of my baby bump and this feeling doesn’t go away for hours. 2 years ago I had a C section with my first child and I can’t help wondering if everything was put back right...is that stupid? Since about “4 weeks” in, I’ve been able to feel gas bubbles and stomach movement very clearly from the outside, as if my uterus is pushing everything out of place , and I just don’t remember this feeling last time. Am I just noticing more because it’s my second pregnancy? Is this a sign of having twins?

I have a full month to go before my first scan, and I’m just dying to know if I’m having twins, or if I’m right in thinking I’m further along.

You can show earlier and feel movement earlier when you’ve already had a baby.
Still can’t tell you for defo whether or not it’s twins until you have ur scan.
I’m 38 weeks with DC number 3 and I showed very early and thought I might have been having twins but nope, just the one baby!

Congratulations

I’m in my third, and I knew I was pregnant when I felt that stretching feeling. Your body has done yr before so just reacting and getting ready. The eating/digestive issues are just all part and parcel of it all.

This is a very reassuring read. This is my 4th pregnancy (one healthy DC and 2 mmc). However this time I can feel my uterus stretching, it’s such a weird sensation. Sometimes it feels like my insides are going to fall out around my section scar!

I also have zero appetite. I don’t feel sick, but I’m not at all hungry. At the moment I’m only managing one meal a day, drinking loads of water though.

I couldn’t finish a meal when I was pg, if I was hungry I had to eat immediately as well. I ended up losing weight rather than putting any on! Little and often will help
