Warm water, prunes. Go to gp and get prescription for lactulose.

Lots of water and lactulose (Can buy from chemist or online if you don't want to go to doctors)

Movicol, it can be bought over the counter (might have to lie about pregnant though). (Sometimes called laxido)

I took one or two sachets when really backed up, but then took half a sachet everyday for the whole of my 3 pregnancies. And for a week after each in fact!

My doctor prescribed it along with lactulose.

Figs, they are quite frankly the best thing you can eat. Have two in the morning daily and drink a large glass of warm water! Worked wonders for me and helps with flatulence 😊

I found that fybogel works. You can take up to sachets a day, and even take it when you aren't feeling constipated to help keep you regular! It's also safe to use during pregnancy!
