I already have a lovely 10 month old, and have just found out I am 6 weeks pregnant with no 2...help! Obviously I am very thrilled and excited but also questioning my sanity! Whilst we were relaxed about 'trying' it has happened straight away so I feel rather unprepared for it all. Please tell me I am not barking mad for having two children so close together? What are the pros and cons so I am fully prepared please!!

DD1 was 3.4 DD2 was 11 months when DS was born. Three times the work, three times the joy. They are 7,5&4 now and the best of friends. It starts of sooo hard and gets easier by the day, once they are out of nappies it becomes a joy.

i am in the same boat. my little angel turned 10 months a few days ago and i am currently 13 weeks pregnant. we did plan it (i'm a bit old and manky so no time to waste!) but i am under no illusions - it will be hard work. to be honest though i think the first is always going to be the hardest as there's such a steep learning curve, this time i'll at least have an idea of what to expect!!! i'll probably still be rubbish at dealing with it but at least everything won't be a total shock! hoping to maybe try for a third as well (if i can bear the morning sickness) but will need to get cracking soon after this one turns up - i am absolutely determined to have a drink at my 40th birthday party!!!
