Hello,

I’ve been planning this for 2 years and I’m going to try and conceive early 2018 so I can have a baby born after September (so they’re the oldest of their school year).

Through fertility calculators, it states that if my last period is the 26th of December, fertilisation would probably happen on the 8th if Jan and the baby would be due 2nd October.

How accurate were your due dates were compared to the estimate? And did you use an ‘online due date calculator’ before hand and was these results fairly accurate to the actual birth date?

Ds1 was born on his due date and Ds2 was born 10 days early.

13 weeks pregnant with Dc3 at the moment and I have a feeling I’ll probably be early again but obviously I don’t know that for sure!

6 weeks early.

17 days late, and 14 days late.

Wow, thank you for all the great responses it’s been really interesting hearing about different due dates and actual births!

  • For those who mention being the eldest of the school year not being that important and not to get hung up, I do agree! I just thought I might take my chances and start trying early 2018, you never know. Thanks for the comments though, it has been a great insight.

I do feel less anxious about the month after reading the comments. Fingers crossed it happens next year if at all!

Thanks again :)
