AF after D&C

I took a pee test this morning and I don't think there's a line. I squinted and strained and put on reading glasses and there MIGHT be a super super super faint line but extremely hard to see if so. Does AF always come as soon as HCG hits 0?

No, I ovulated about a week after getting a negative test and then had a period two weeks later.

Thank you peachgreen! I feel like I ovulated earlier this week so maybe another week and a half...

My cycle went back to normal straight away. I ovulated 14 days after the d&c and got my period 28 days after. I'm pretty sure hcg must have been 0 for me to ovulate, but obviously I didn't get my period until the end of that cycle. So it's really hard to say.

Thanks mindutopia! I've read some other posts where someone has had their blood hcg level tested and had ultrasounds that showed ovulation with hcg in their blood so it must happen some times?? Did you have an early miscarriage/low hcg at the time of d&c? Mine was pretty low and dropping fast so i feel like I'm likely right back to my normal cycle too. I'm pretty sure I ovulated cd 13 ish and that's normal for me.

My. First af was on time, 4 weeks after D&c but then all over for about 6 months... Don't be surprised if your cycle goes a bit funny for a while, it'll take a while for everything to regulate. I used to be like clockwork but the my period became slightly irregular...24,29,31,26,34 that kind of thing... X

Oh my! Thanks Hulaballoo. That's definitely good to know!
