As the title suggests, I have three already and yesterday found out that there's a fourth on the way.

Totally and utterly unplanned!!

I haven't told dp yet as he's away but I'm worried about how he's going to feel....

Anyone else pregnant with their fourth? Could do with someone to chat to before I burst!

Hi, Steph! How are you feeling? I had quite bad spd with my last baby so I'm fully expecting to be in a lot of pain towards the end Sad

Ah, hopefully he'll come round Sad

I'm due in July too, which I never would have planned. At least there won't be any school runs to do but the whole summer holidays with three kids and a newborn?! Eek!

Exhausted! We'd also thrown away all the baby bits as hadn't planned another one for a few more years yet. I'm so over being pregnant, I can't wait to have this one. My body loves going overdue so won't be for a few weeks yet :(

Oh, it's interesting to hear that you were planning on another at some point!

I kind of feel that this was inevitable; although we felt "done", I did always feel that there was one more in us. There is an odd number after all!

Mine are 17, 15, 13 and 5 so quite spread out, we also got rid of most of our baby things. We’ve bought most of what we need now and I can’t help thinking it must be half of what we bought for the first, I guess that’s the bonus of experience, knowing exactly what you’ll need!!!

Yup all my baby stuff went to charity shops etc after the last one was born. My parents were rather indifferent to the news, I'm with a new partner now (have been for 4 years). Think they still mourn the loss of my ex 🙄

Me! I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant with baby no 4... had to buy a new car etc.... 🙈

I'm currently 8 weeks with no. 4 - my other 3 are 25 and 22 - from my first marriage - and 10, with my current husband. I also have an 11-month-old grandson, courtesy of DD2. We'd tried to give DD3 a little sibling, but after 3 years of miscarriages we finally gave up 4 years ago, and then I started menopause a year ago. We were all very surprised when I fell pregnant! I'll be 45 next month.

Arkady, what a lovely story! Congratulations! Smile

Hotpink- that's one of the things my dp was worrying about earlier. Cars are expensive!!

I'm feeling a lot more positive, having just been over to the in laws. We were talking about sil's imminent birth, and I got all excited about giving birth again! Grin

Hi Brutus pregnancy been ok, just difficult with a clingy 19 month old and severe pelvic girdle pain but I have a lot of support from hubby and the 3 and 7 year old are really good!
My dad was a knob when I told him - he spoke to me like I was an ', irresponsible teenager' and not a professional, married adult! I think a lot of it came from his views about having a large family (5 kids).

Yep me I’m 36 weeks and 6 days and I have three older children 25, 23 and 21 so a massive age gap 😜

Me! I'm 15 weeks and my DC will be 4 and 2(twins) when the baby arrives. This baby is planned and much wanted but DH and I still have moments of panic....

Lumpy- oh no, how rude! Do you mean he was one of five and didn't like it? I'd like to think that parents should support their children in things like this. I know my parents will think it's a terrible idea but I'm hoping they try and stay positive for us!?

Hi Old! Wow, that is an age gap!! 😁 Lots of lovely babysitters! How did your grown up kids respond to the news?

Hi elves! Wow, that is impressive! I can see why you'd want another though, to balance things out!

I hope this little sesame sees inside me will turn out to be a boy...healthy baby and uncomplicated delivery first and foremost, obviously, and I'd love another girl, but I expect my only boy would want to move out if he had another sister! 😁

I'm holding off on booking a midwife appointment, too, as I've had miscarriages in the past...

I'm 32 weeks with unplanned #4. Older ones are 4, 3 and 2.

My mum didn't react brilliantly. DH was fine about it. It took me a few weeks to get over the shock as I was planning a new business and I get very ill always do knew I'd have to put it all on hold. But we did always want 4 so now that the decision is out of my hands I'm glad. It's hard work with them all so little and I work full time but we will be totally fine.

I am 1 of 5 Brutus and him and my mum worked hard to give us a good life. My mum died in her early 50s and I think in a warped way he thinks lots of pregnancies ruined her body (she had 8 pregnancies in total) and somehow contributed to her early demise!

BrutusMcDogface · 20/11/2017 21:49

Oh no, sorry to hear that Sad

My dp seems quite angry now....hopefully he's just going through the stages of acceptance?! He just said "it will be lovely...eventually....." this doesn't fill me with confidence!!

Ilovelamp- I take my hat off to you! also wondering if you're still sane BECAUSE you work full timeGrin
