Ok...my advice is buy a FRER on the way home (this early donMt bother with clear blue or Tesco etc) and test again tomorrow morning. If you still get a negative I'd say it's a no. If you get a line I'm going with you're preggers :)

rebeccac29 · 20/11/2017 16:32

Might do another cheapy if my bleeding stays away spoke to doctor today and he said go in when i can and he will do bloods as said because of that other test

I had a big bleed very early on with DC3, right after I tested positive. I bled for a day then it stopped. I went to the GP to tell him about the bleed. I referred to it as a miscarriage which ended up in my notes. He's 3 1/2 years old now!

If you've stopped bleeding that's an encouraging sign. Sadly you'll just have to wait for a scan at the early pregnancy unit which can be another couple of weeks (6-7 weeks they can detect a heartbeat) . So see your GP or book a phone consultation with GP and ask to be referred for a scan at your early pregnancy unit. Good luck!

CL1982 · 21/11/2017 10:56

Hmm. That is something. Please do a FRER - you'll get a clear line and you won't have to squint :D They're worth the £6 just for the loss of agro...

rebeccac29 · 21/11/2017 11:11

I know what you mean r you sure it will show up on them

Jojopugh · 21/11/2017 11:19

It’s another line by the look of it. You must be very early, I’d get bloods taken just to confirm x

Jojopugh · 21/11/2017 11:21

This is the sort of test they used when I went to docs. They don’t have clear blue and really expensive test. I have never used them as I think they all do the same thing. Some may detect a abit earlier I think?
X

rebeccac29 · 21/11/2017 11:35

@rebeccac29 On a FRER? Oh yes. They are by FAR the most reliable early tests on the market. I go tmy BFP at 7DPO which blew. my. mind.

spearo21 · 21/11/2017 11:50

Defo looks like a positive to me!

rebeccac29 · 21/11/2017 12:26

Ive beard of bad results from them xx

OP posts:
CL1982 · 21/11/2017 12:59

@reveccac29 No, not on a flat Frer. They're one of the most reliable tests on the market. The curved ones.....steer clear. Apparently horrible things with nasty evap lines.

We don't get the curved ones much in the UK. They're more of a US thing. I have literally NEVER had a false positive on a FRER and i have peed on a LOT Of them and had 4 pregnancies in the last year :)

OP posts:
CL1982 · 23/11/2017 20:03

It does sound like you could do with a blood test. Did the FRER come out negative? Supermarket own tend to have a 50diu level which is pretty high for an early test....FRER pick up around 10diu and other cheapies usually around 20 (even if they say lower).

ruthieruthuk · 24/11/2017 05:13

I can see some faint lines.

Congratulations!

Depending on where you live there are lots of services to help with pregnancy related queries. I went to my local with clinic. Maybe google sexual health / pregnancy clinics in your area. I would possibly got to the docs too if you can or do you have a walk in centre close by? X
