Losing weight in 2nd tri - normal or worrying?

I am nearly 22w with twins. All has been fine so far. I am trying to stay active so do a gentle gym routine twice a week. While there I tend to hop on the scales, just to keep an eye. So far I have been gaining about 0.7kg per week, which afaik is nice and normal.

Then since last week it's stalled and I have dropped. Not much but from 70.4kg to 69.5.

I am using the same digital scales each time, same time of day, same clothing. I don't think it's an error.

Would that worry you? I just assumed I would be putting on weight at this stage, not losing. Confused

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

It's not even a kilo so I wouldn't bat an eyelid especially if you have generally been gaining weight. I wouldn't pay it any more attention. You're obviously doing exercise still and likely watching what you eat. I think it's perfectly fine.
Btw, I lost 9.5 kg in first / second trimester from being sick and my baby totally healthy and have only gained weight from 30 weeks onwards!

Thanks thingy! Yeah I lost weight with sickness in this pregnancy and the last but then started a steady weight gain..... maybe I should eat more biscuits Grin

@JohnnyMcGrathSaysFuckOff I think more biscuits is definitely what the doctor ordered. I think it's amazing that you're 70kg in second trimester with twins and exercising. I don't think you have anything to worry about.
