In my first pregnancy it was about 21/22 weeks. This time around 17 weeks. Feels like little pockets of air popping. Probably easy to miss until you realise what it is.

I can't wait to feel my baby move! Feels like forever waiting!

I think it was around 20 weeks when I was sure I felt something...now I’m 34 and the movements are so strong (and uncomfortable!!) it takes my breath away and keeps me awake at night!

feral · 15/11/2017 16:19

I was 17 weeks if that makes it a closer possibility for you 🙂

spnfan · 15/11/2017 16:21

I was 16weeks with my first - three tiny taps between my hip bone and belly button and I'm pretty sure I've felt my second today and am 16 weeks today! Felt like baby was rolling over. Felt it in the same place but the other side!

Fuzzyduck21 · 15/11/2017 16:23

I was about 16 weeks with my first and second. Would describe first movements like popcorn popping. Not what I had expected but after googling it's what it was apparently and just got stronger as it went in. 20 weeks with second now and very obvious movements which hubby can also feel (am slim so dunno if that makes a difference to him being able to feel them). You've not got long to wait now :)

Fuzzyduck21 · 15/11/2017 16:23

*As time went on

BexleyRae · 15/11/2017 16:26

I was about 17 weeks when I definitely felt DD move. It was like bubbles popping, I think I may have felt her earlier, but 17 weeks was definte. As she got bigger she moved so much, I have a video of my stomach moving like an alien is trying to burst out of me!

sourpatchkid · 15/11/2017 16:34

24 weeks but I’m plus sized which apparently can effect it

ICanNeverThinkOfAGoodUsrname · 15/11/2017 16:53

I felt the tiniest of thibgs around week 16 or 17 but no definite kicks till around 20 or 21 weeks.

1987Laura · 15/11/2017 17:02

@sourpatchkid i am plus sized too so looks like i will have to wait longer

I was 15/16 weeks with my first but I was slim then. I was a size 14-16 with my last ( fourth) pregnancy and felt him sporadically about 18 weeks but was having regular movements by 20 weeks. So hopefully not too long for you.

Broxibear · 15/11/2017 17:22

I was 22 weeks, but I'm on the heavy side and had an anterior placenta.

Penguin27 · 15/11/2017 17:48

18 weeks for me Grin

bettydraper31 · 15/11/2017 19:43

First baby around 19 weeks first time. Felt like I'd swallowed a goldfish!

2nd baby around 11 weeks x

Hannabee123 · 15/11/2017 19:46

Front placenta and didn't really feel much until 26 / 27 weeks!
Worried me but now I'm 34 and feel so kinds of movements, jabs, stretches. Don't be too worried if you don't feel anything until you're further along

TonicAndTonic · 15/11/2017 20:53

19 weeks for me Smile

CL1982 · 15/11/2017 21:22

I didn't feel anything until 21 weeks. It will happen I promise!

harrietm87 · 15/11/2017 21:26

I think I felt movements 16/17 weeks, but they were unmistakeable at 18 weeks. First baby. It’s an amazing feeling!

Expectingbsbunumber2 · 15/11/2017 21:30

20/21 weeks with my first.

DeadDoorpost · 15/11/2017 21:44

18 weeks for me, anterior placenta, and high bmi.
DH could feel movements at 23 weeks

thaigreencurry82 · 15/11/2017 22:41

21 weeks with anterior placenta. Agree with an earlier description it’s like air popping.

Mrstobe90 · 15/11/2017 23:40

I was 16 weeks when I felt the first flutter and then felt something about once a week until 19/20 weeks when movements became more regular.

AutumnLeavesandCandleLights · 16/11/2017 07:56

Felt my first little one move around a few days shy of 20 weeks.
With this one, it was closer to 23-24 weeks as I have an anterior placenta which was and still does, cushion a lot of bub's movements.

ClaireBear1986 · 16/11/2017 11:32

I'm currently 18 weeks (and slim, not sure if that makes a difference or not) and haven't felt anything at all yet.

Midwife said as it is my 1st and I have a tilted womb, that I might not feel anything till around 25 weeks!!

The sooner the better though, as I am sure it must be reassuring to feel your little peanut moving around in there.
