Hi mommies or moms to be,

I wonder if anyone can help me. I am 18 weeks pregnant and was feeling unwell, had watery discharge like real water and had lower abdominal pain and cramps. My MW advised to see the emergency EPU.

I have been there yesterday and after doing the urine test and swab test. They found white blood cells and gave me some antibiotics and also a vaginal tablet. I did ask the gynae/doc, but there was no clear reply if I need to worry or not. She and the other nurses mentioned we are here to help if you find any other symptom please come back even if it is within an hour.

Anyone can advise me on the above that would be so helpful. As I am panicking like anything :(

Flowers try not to panic. You have done all the right things. I assume you’re home now? If so, have a cuppa, lie down with a blanket and watch something on tv. Give the medicine time to work and see how you feel. If you’re really not reassured, call them up for a chat, they seriously won’t mind. I hope everything settles down for you. I think a little window into the womb would be fab so we could constantly keep checking!
