Taking gabapentin in pregnancy

Hi

I am on abc low dose of gabapentin for some nerve damage

Does anyone else take it during pregnancy? I'm find it really hard to wean off of it.

Go and see your doctor for a review.

You may need higher dose folic acid.

AFAIK, observational studies of women who have taken gabapentin in pregnancy have not shown additional risk, but the numbers studied are low. You need to discuss this drug, and possible alternatives, with someone you know to be medically qualified.
