Waters broke, I'm scared!

My waters have broken at 33 weeks (twins). Going straight into the hospital now, and I'm scared! I didn't want it to happen this early! DH is still on his final pre-babies business trip. My lovely best friend is going to come for support (despite the fact he's had to leave work early) but this isn't how I wanted it to be. I'm so scared and I'm worried it's too early and everything's going to go wrong!

Thinking of you! I’m sure everything will go to plan Smiledo you know if the babies are good sizes? And do they have names?

cf21 · 13/11/2017 10:50

Everything will be fine and you’ll have your beautiful babies here lovely and healthy soon enough!

Your best friend sounds fab and will give you all the support you need but I hope your DH makes it back soon, I’m sure he will! Good luck and enjoy your bundles of joy Flowers

Wow! How exciting OP. Everything will be fine - you're certainly not the earliest with twins! You're in good hands. Do you have names picked out?

Sunshinesaz86 · 13/11/2017 10:51

My friend had her twins at 31 weeks recently, they've been on oxygen mainly and feeding tubes for about 6 weeks and finally got to go home with them a few days ago.

The dr's are amazing these days. Good luck you'll be in good hands! X

Good luck! I hope you have a smooth labour and birth, your babies at 33weeks are likely to be in hospital for a little while but should be nice and strong by 33 weeks 💪 all the best FlowersFlowers

Holding your hand. I’m pg with twins too. Are yours DCDA? Getting post 32 weeks is really good, and apparently twins are stronger than Singleton premmies because they have to compete in utero. Good luck OP.

GlitteryFluff · 13/11/2017 10:56

From one twin mummy to another good luck. I’m sure they will be fine. Hopefully dh can get back in time for you all. I’m sure our best friend will be an invaluable support.
