Is 27+1 too early to go into hospital for reduced movement?

From yesterday I've noticed my baby isn't moving much, he IS moving but it massively reduced. He's not a very active baby as it is and I think I felt maybe 5 movements all day yesterday?
I don't know if I'm overreacting??

Not too early. Think they say from 26weeks to get checked. Ring your maternity unit now!

toopeoply · 12/11/2017 02:33

Just go. Mine came at 27.6 weeks x

No please go, ring up now. Don’t take any risks. Am sure all is fine but just in case go get checked in case your baby needs urgent help. Hope all goes well.

No. I went at 25 weeks as I had been feeling strong movement since 14 weeks (second baby). Always better to get checked and be reassured

HashtagTired · 12/11/2017 03:16

No. Go.

Ceesadoo · 12/11/2017 08:03

No. Go and get checked.

DuggeeHugs · 12/11/2017 08:10

Another saying not too soon to get checked!

crazypenguinlady · 12/11/2017 08:17

Always be cautious and get it checked out. Flowers

GreyTree · 12/11/2017 08:21

Go. You know your baby and your body.

Expectingbsbunumber2 · 12/11/2017 08:25

No go. I went to my midwife

ProseccoPoppy · 12/11/2017 08:32

Go in. Every time. I worried about going in at around that stage with my first but the midwives in the day assessment unit said that it was very important to, and they would much much rather see someone dozens of “unnecessary” times than not see someone and not have the chance to intervene if there is a problem.

A little update.. I've been in for monitoring and babies heart beat was absolutely fine. Midwife mentioned my placenta is fundal so this could be cushioning the movements. Thanks for the advice

Never too early to get checked out. I was 26+3 and had reduced movements, went straight to hospital and they monitored movements and everything was fine. Never feel like you're being silly or wasting anyone's time! :) xx
