See a cranial osteopath. They literally work magic with this sort of pain. I have it normally (nothing to do with pregnancy) due to SI joint dysfunction and a couple appts late in pregnancy seems to be enough to keep it at bay. I saw her twice last time and will probably have about 3 appts this time (about once a month). Also for me, gentle exercise (swimming or walking for 30-40 minutes a few times a week) and stretching helps a lot. There is lots of info on stretches for sciatica, so I would have a good. You want things that stretch your legs, piriformis and low back.

I had sciatica before too but it had gone until getting pregnant. Will look to see if I can get an appointment with someone, and look at stretches, thank you for replying

I’ve been referred to physio for nerve pain in my hip, my Gp said the physio team has pregnancy specialists so might be worth seeing your Gp to get a referral?

Go to an osteopath, can't imagine why you've tolerated it for months!

dangle90 · 09/11/2017 11:32

I’ve tolerated it because it wasn’t exactly painful before, more of an annoyance, so I’ve just put up with it! But now it is getting painful and too much to put up with from the weight of the babies.

Thank you, will get in touch with the gp, didn’t realise they had specialist teams.
