I'm 37 weeks PG and I'm still working, my last official day at work is the 27th of April. I'm taking a sickie today because I feel tired, backache, mild SPD...I'm feeling bad not going but feeling so tired...it's not getting better...would you think I'm a lazy cow for not going to work ?

no I would think you are pregnant. Prostrate yourself on the sofa and eat biscuits all day. It will do you good.

Your 37 weeks pregnant, you could have the baby at anytime. Rest while you can!

Don't feel guilty, have a rest. People take a sickie with much less.

That's make me feel better...still can't believe I have to work until end of next week because the girl who is replacing me can't start before next monday and I have to train her up...

Er - no. You can take your maternity leave when you w\ant to, not when it is convenient for the company,. It's the law!

I'm just a temp in their company and they offered me to come back back as a permanent 6 months after the birth...so it's like an exchange of favours really...but when I have comitted myself to stay until the very end...I was still early days in the pregnancy so feeling good...silly me, silly, silly me.
