For a couple of weeks now I've had numb hands in the morning on waking. I understand from what I've read that this is likely to be carpal tunnel syndrom caused by fluid retention inpregnancy. I see the midwife next week so will talk to her about it, and am being referred to the work physio to get some exercises to help (work have been very helpful and even told me to take breaks (from working at my pc at least)if I need to get wrists mobile if that helps). Last night though it was really bad through the night, arms were aching enough to disturb sleep and hands kept going numb depending on the position i was in. Anyone else got/had this? Any advice? (Never thought the worst "side effect" of pregnancy was going to be in my hands and erists )

is there one hand worse then the other?? if so it maybe worth you buying a splint support (will try and link one) they do tend to help. You may find that after the pregnancy all the symptoms will just disappear, (unfortunalty mine got worse and had to have both hands operated on)
