Thanks for that sandcastles. I can give copies of that article to my c-birth mums.

Isn't it wonderful?????????

mumfor1standfinaltime · 15/04/2007 17:14

Beautiful. What a lovely read.

lucyellensmum · 15/04/2007 17:21

fantastic, this should be offered as a matter of course to mothers who are having to have a c-section. Of course, they shouldnt feel forced, i wonder, couldnt the fathers do the same thing? If ever i had to have a ceaser then i would definately want that. Hubby might need to sit with head between legs for a while though - bless

oh fabulous. Lovely pic too! Those gloves would give me some serious dermatitis though

amexgirl · 19/04/2007 18:22

Yikes, that sounds hideous. And I'm a surgical trainee. Very happy to have my hands inside other people's abdomens but my own? I'd freak out! Hypocrite, moi?

Kelly1978 · 19/04/2007 18:31

Wow that is amazing, and a truly beautiful picture. I'd have loved to been able to do that.

Kelly1978 · 19/04/2007 18:32

It wouldn't really feel like it was your own abdomen though really would it, since it would be numbed.
