Rib pain?

I'm 6 weeks and got horrible rib pain. Think it's connected to boobs as they are so heavy... I'm a big cup anyway so it's feeling pretty uncomfortable :(
Had to wear bra to bed last night as it Hurt too much. Everytime ibreath in it hurts. Only under right boob lol. Is it normal?

Are you wearing an underwire bra? It could be the wire cutting into you. You might need to get measured to check you are wearing the right size.

I’ve had this for a few weeks, but didn’t start til about 20wks. Turned out to be ribs expanding due to pregnancy. It’s the muscles between the ribs. Stretching and lying down helps, sitting and driving makes it worse.
Seems fairly common. Is getting better now at 25 wks.

I had that, but also much later in pregnancy. I ended up signed off work with it, as it was agony to drive. Paracetamol didn’t touch it, but I seem to recall being prescribed topical anti inflammatory gel which helped a bit. I’m fairly sure it was caused by rib flare irritating a nerve (or 8) though, which seems unlikely at 6 weeks, unless it’s not your first and the hormones, muscle softening etc is exacerbating something from last time?

That's another reason why I think I'm further along then 6 weeks. Been doctors and he said it was the muscle. It's my second pregnancy but first ended in mmc at 11 weeks

It sounds daft, but are you sure it's not heartburn? It might be worth swigging some gaviscon to see.

I had it, started early on in pregnancy and ditto the right side, but was primarily sitting at a desk that set it off.
