Best, most reasonably priced nursing bras please ladies!

I don’t want to spend a fortune as last time I failed miserably at breast feeding and gave up after the first week!

Thank you!

Have a look at Hotmilk and Belle lingerie. Both tend to have pretty good deals/ sales on most of the time.
I got all mine from Bravissimo and Royce last time - over £30 a bra Shock
I can't afford to do that this time so will be checking the ones I mentioned earlier

I'm in Ireland and Penneys/Primark sell cheap ones, I found them crap but didn't expect much for the price. I got some crossover "sleep" bras in h&m, 2 for €22 or something, I'll be using them during the day because I hate the bf clips. I also have maternity bras from Mothercare that I got for €5-10 in their sales which I'll also use.

They recommend soft crop top style ones to begin with before your supply settles, the best (and cheapest!) I found are by Junlan, on eBay or amazon! Would definitely recommend them.

I got mine in M&S and they've been fine, not glam but functional. Have washed really well - I am breastfeeding my second baby using the bras from the first time round and they're still fine.

Both ASOS and JoJoMaman sell a brand called Emma Jane - I have two of their crop top looking maternity bras. £13 each and super comfy.

Awesome - thanks ladies, shall get on the old interweb and get ordering.

Actually - what do you do size wise?!!

Foggymist · 27/10/2017 16:28

I never changed size so can't help there, sorry.

furryelephant · 27/10/2017 16:48

I got one slightly bigger than I needed as I’d rather too loose so less risk of mastitis or blocked ducts! The crop top style ones are so stretchy that I’d imagine the risk was quite minimal anyway

Hot milk are lovely! I went from a 34d to a 40d though just to warn you!!

LorelaiVictoriaGilmore · 27/10/2017 23:01

Another vote for Hot Milk - I'm still wearing those bras even though I between breastfeeding ds and giving birth to dd!

I really liked the Anita underwired bras - I was a 30E pre-pregnancy and a 30H now, so I really needed that underwire! Croptops gave me zero support, if they were big enough to cover my breasts they were far too big on the ribcage. Like this, basically:

Bravado Bliss is my absolute favourite.

It keeps a decent shape, but is still unwired. Cake ones also get quite good reviews.
