Hi ladies
I’m 39+4 weeks pregnant and have recently come up in a rash on my feet and hands which came up on Monday/Tuesday. I thought it was a heat rash or something like this but it didn’t go away so I went to the doctors this morning and he thinks I have hand foot and mouth disease.
Apparently it’s only an issue later on the pregnancy as it can be passed to your baby when your about to give birth. I’m waiting for a call back from infectious diseases to see how to proceed but the doctor said they may want to induce me.
Does anyone have any experience with hand, foot and mouth disease while pregnant?
