Antenatal classes advice

Morning all. I am trying to navigate antenatal classes booking and have found out that the only classes in my area for my due date (October) are women only and during the day. I am in Hackney/Islington area of London (and thought I would be spoilt for choice given the number of mums I see in the park every Saturday!). Anyway, might even be too late for that class as I filed away the NCT email and promptly forgot about it... Any other N1/N16'ers out there who can advise? Maybe you know independent teachers? Thanks lovely mumsnetters

ooh, NotQuiteCockney is on holiday at the moment, but she's an NCT bod in Hackney - more E8 than N1 but she's bound to know the score.

I will lurk until she appears again then!

Thanks for the pointer to here, MrsB.

I'm E1/E2/E3/E14, but we do get women from all over, and we don't care when you're due.

If you click on the NCT booking page, it should show you all the branches reasonably near you - and Tower Hamlets will come up as one of those, and that's me. (Alternatively, make up a postcode beginning with one of the ones above, and you'll get sent to me right away.)

If you fill in the booking form, that's the easiest way to get your details to me.

Things you should know:

  1. I'm nowhere near ready to set up courses for your due date - I'm running late and hope to release July classes on Tuesday.
  1. Our classes are sometimes two weekend days, and sometimes one weekend and one weekday. It depends on teacher availability. Partners are absolutely welcome, though.
  1. I'm away on holidays now, hence me not seeing this thread before. I'll be back tomorrow and properly dealing with things on Tuesday I think.

We do care when you're due! We don't care where you live!

Aargh.

I am no good on the cider.

Thanks so much! Will be in touch soon
