Get your iron levels checked asap. Low iron symptom is shortness of breath. Very common in late pregnancy xx

It could be your iron levels, have they been checked recently?

Always short of breath when pregnant...

Yes get iron levels checked. If they are ok it’s possible your baby is just really high up, mine had his head in my ribs for weeks and I couldn’t take a proper deep breath, it was horrible!

Depending on what you mean by "very".
When i was very short of breath they were concerned enough that they wanted to rule out a blood clot in lung.
Turns out in pregnancy you can have a PE (blood clot) without any pain etc only symptom is the severe breathlessness.
So might be worth a phone call to midwife.

And like others have said get bloods check to rule out low iron levels.

But at 34 weeks even for the fit and healthy its normal to get breathless when walking or climbing stairs etc as all your organs are pushed up so your lungs have less room to expand.

My iron levels are fine. Baby seems to positioned high at the mo, it's more when I'm walking up stairs and things like that. Thanks for all the replies
