I'm 24 + 3 and experiencing braxton hicks every 15 minutes or so. This is my 2nd pregnancy and don't remember them with my first almost 5 years ago.
Is it normal to have them so regularly?

From what I’ve read no but I’m not an expert. I’m 23+ 3 and I when I get bh it’s like 2 that last a few seconds then goes for the day most times for for a few hours. Maybe call labour ward? Xx

I always thought that one of the main differences with Brixton hicks were that they weren’t regular. I’d definitely call the labour ward.

Braxton hicks shouldn’t be regular. Give your maternity unit a call to be on the safe side.

Absolutely call the maternity unit.

But for reassurance, I had regular braxton hicks from as early as 8 weeks in one of my pregnancies. I have 5dc and the braxton hicks started earlier and were more frequent with each pregnancy. I didn't have any with dc1. I was told I had an irritable uterus.

Rest and drink plenty of water. I was told that exercise and dehydration could make them worse.

Definitely ring triage. As others said, braxton contractions shouldn't be regular

Regular may not be normal so do call as others suggested. However, you do normally feel BH more with each pregnancy.

Thank you all. I actually fell asleep last night and have woken up and feel ok so far. I will keep an eye out but so far it seems to have calmed down Smile

I sometimes have days with very few, and some when they are a lot more frequent. Im 26 weeks now and at first I thought something was wrong, but they seemed to have calmed down :)
