Is it normal to be THIS tired at 37 weeks??

I'm 37 +2 today and I feel like absolute crap. Went out for the day yesterday with DH - nothing too strenuous and since I've come home I am completely wiped out. Slept fairly well last night but I have done nothing at all today and even going downstairs to get food is a huge chore!
I've been on iron tablets for about 2 weeks and I did perk up a little bit on them but now I have absolutely no energy and feel a little bit sick and spaced out. Just don't want to move Sad

Unfortunately not providing any helpful response but could of written this myself.. and I'm not even 25 weeks yet!
Hope you start to feel a bit better soon, and not long until you'll get to meet your little one! Smile

Ask for a blood test to check what’s going on. Being able to struggle on doesn’t mean you don’t need treatment. My haemoglobin levels were so low the midwife couldn’t believe I could get out of bed and dr wanted me to have a transfusion, I just felt a bit rubbish.

Scroobius oddly enough, the Dr surgery just called me to make sure I book in for a blood test a week before my iron tablets run out (didn't mention they were Dr prescribed - ferrous sulphate)

It is, but do get your bloods done anyway.

Yep

36+4 and much the same here. Bloods done yesterday and all okay so guessing it’s just part of the joy of pregnancy.

Thanks for the replies. Luckily I finished work so I have done absolutely nothing today but rest and eat! I suppose if it was ever ok to be lazy, now is the time!
