Brown discharge 35 weeks

Hiya everyone! 35w on the dot today. Been to hospital this morning/afternoon as had some brown discharge at 3am and then on the panty liner when I woke up. They did the ctg, baby boy is happy and active. I had lots of greenish thrush/mucusy/watery discharge (all together, sort of mixed but not iyswim) and they took the swabs and sent me home. The gyneo said nothing to worry about but I didn't have it previously and in my first pregnancy. Anyone had it? I have a growth scan on Thur as well so hopefully all will be well :)

Anyone?

I am no expert whatsoever but did the hospital imply this could be your plug?
My nct teacher said mucus etc can be weeks before labour and is nothing to worry about.

Have you had sex recently? During pregnancy everything gets more sensitive and it could have just taken a while for the blood to mix / come out?

I've had it around 25-30 weeks but it was pinkish / brown but it happened straight away so it would have been fresher.

As for the discharge.. Mine is crazy and changes daily. I'm 35 weeks just now and it's going through a off cream, gloopy and stringy faze just now. It did go watery to the point of overloading pads along with a yellow colour (green tint). The hospital checked me over and all was clear but they decided to treat for thrush (even though I had no itch or other symptoms) and it cleared up overnight. Xx

I had similar at 35 weeks, brownish discharge like the end of a period & quite a lot of it. Got checked at hospital & they were happy it was nothing to worry about, checked cervix still closed & plug intact. Had it for a couple more days then stopped. Started again the following week but much lighter. Then got the results back from the swab they took in hospital & had thrush. Haven't had the brown discharge since I used the thrush pessary. Did they take a swab from you?

Hiya everyone! Sorry for not responding earlier! All is well the discharge is no longer there (not that I can see at least). I don't think it was caused by sex as we've not done anything in over a week... I asked the gyneo if it could be the plug but she said no... they did all the swabs and sent them off but I stupidly forgot to ask how long it will take for the results to come back! Will call my gp tomorrow to see if anything has arrived! Thanks for all your help everyone!
