I'm 5 weeks today and I feel absolutely normal. I had a couple of mild "symptoms" of pregnancy before my missed period and around the time of my missed period like soreish boobs, fatigue, emotional and stuff, but nothing major. Now I feel okay, I wouldn't even know I was pregnant. I keep waking up early/ in the middle of the night though, not sure if that's a sign and I also seem to be slightly "spaced out" at work but I'm not sure if these are symptoms. I've had a previous early miscarriage literally only a couple of month ago so maybe I'm over thinking it? Or I just handling the rising HCG levels better than others ?

I feel the exact same... week 6 today, I do have sore boobs but other than that nothing... no nausea at all does make me worry slightly but all I keep reading and hearing is everyone’s different

AliBingo · 23/10/2017 10:28

I am in the same sort of boat, just over 5 weeks and no symptoms, before this pregnancy I lost 3 consecutive pregnancies at 7, 10 and 12 weeks so it would definitely be nice to have some strong symptoms, but I think it might just be a bit early really.

1234meg · 23/10/2017 11:01

Yeah I've heard so many different things and I do no every pregnancy is different so fingers crossed for all of us! X

Hi ladies! I just got my BFP this morning! I think I'm just over 5 weeks. I also feel normal besides having boobs that are on fire!! That's what made me test this morning haha.
Totally normal I think not to feel symptoms yet, with my DD i had morning sickness from 6 weeks so I think I'm bracing myself for that in the coming few days....x

1234meg · 23/10/2017 11:28

See my boobs don't even hurt now, I am quite worried. I'm hoping my bodies just getting use to the extra hormones

I was really similar, apart from aches boobs when I lay on my front I had no symptoms at all (other than tiredness!) until my bump appeared around 20 weeks. Now have a bouncing little one! Don't stress about no symptoms, enjoy being one of the lucky ones, no point worrying Smile

user246775435865466 · 23/10/2017 11:53

Hi meg I worried stresshead too. I had faint preg test lines all last week with sore breasts and tailbone and bum cheek aches but now my boobs have stopped hurting and I'm scared to test aha Incase my line has completely gone.

PJsAndProsecco · 23/10/2017 11:54

@1234meg I remember with my first I panicked all through the first trimester when I would feel okay one day after feeling sick the previous day. I definitely learnt that symptoms will come and go, so don't worry. Your body is doing all sorts, there's no hard and fast rules on what you should and shouldn't feel! It's just like how we're all different in the TWW, some women have zero symptoms and some have loads. I found the first tri to be very much the same!! This time around I'm going to try not to be so stressed about it (easier said than done!).

user246775435865466 · 23/10/2017 11:55

Btw I would be 4 weeks along.
I have also been really tired and weeped whilst watching that singing programme after factor last night Blush I'm just an hormonal mess Grin

nattergal · 23/10/2017 12:19

I'm 5+5 and also feel pretty normal-no nausea at all. I've been getting trapped wind and cramping every now and again, and keep waking up once in the middle of the night but that's it really. Also only developed sore breasts in the last couple of days. I do feel tired all the time but that's nothing new for me!!

1234meg · 23/10/2017 12:31

I'm so worried about having a missed miscarriage as the little symptoms I had don't seem to still be apparent. How common would it be to have a miscarriage without bleeding or pain?

SylvesterTheCat · 23/10/2017 12:59

I'm currently 6+5. At week 5 I was asking exactly the same questions as you and wondering if something was wrong because of lack of symptoms. Now I'm so tired and although I haven't actually been sick, I get waves of nausea and I'm sleeping a lot. This all started just a couple of days ago. I'm sure your symptoms will arrive soon. Every pregnancy is different. Enjoy it while it lasts and best wishes for a happy and healthy pregnancy! :)

user246775435865466 · 23/10/2017 13:46

I've good period type pain kicking in since lunchtime Sad

Ekphrasis · 23/10/2017 14:16

I was initially very nauseas (before missed period and during the 5th week but by week five it had settled and I worried for another 2-3 weeks before it all hit again. Unfortunately no one has a crystal ball and everyone is different. The early weeks are definitely extremely difficult esp if symptoms fluctuate. You can have a few days of nothing before it hits again.

1234meg · 23/10/2017 14:17

@sylvesterthecat that did reassure me abit but obviously there's still that worry there of course. Thank you for commenting though! X

@ekphrasis I'm starting to think it could be due to your body becoming use to the new hormone therefore they perhaps ease off until the hormone level rises again ?

Hi,

I came on here to ask the exact same question so it’s really reassuring to find this thread. I’m 5+1 today. This is my 6th pregnancy but one DC so a lot of loss along the way. Needless to say I am the exact opposite of relaxed right now.

I’m concerned about my lack of symptoms and keep thinking I felt sick much earlier in previous pregnancies. I don’t know if I really did or it’s just my worrying that’s making me remember things differently.

I definitely do remember though that my symptoms always came and went and I concluded that those peaks correlated with a surge in hormones then as I got used to them I felt better again.

Can’t quite believe I’m wishing for sickness etc but just feel like I need some sign that hormones are heading in the right direction!

Ekphrasis · 23/10/2017 16:28

@1234meg I’m sure I posted a similar post or googled the hell out of it. That’s what I’ve surmised, your body becomes accustomed to it till the next rise. Feeling spaced and waking in the night are symptoms I recognise. Don’t forget some women don’t get any symptoms till around 8 weeks.

I’ve had two mc this year - I started writing a symptom diary for myself and checking through again, 5-8 weeks seem fairly symptom free except I did have slowly increasingly sore breasts.

There’s a pregnancy after mc thread if you’d like to join? I found it helpful. Everyone understands the worry.

1234meg · 23/10/2017 16:33

@Ekphrasis I feel like I'm driving myself mad, I know there's nothing I can do to stop what's meant to be but i just want this pregnancy to work out so badly! Haha x

Hi, I'm 5 weeks today too! First pregnancy so super nervous after hearing so many sad stories! I am much more tired than usual but that's about it for symptoms...

DRSLondon · 24/10/2017 07:43

I didn't get any symptoms until 7 weeks. Don't worry x

1234meg · 24/10/2017 09:26

Hoping symptoms appear soon ( not too much sickness though Wink)

FirstT1mer · 24/10/2017 09:31

I think I'm also at week 5 although I didn't really have periods while I had the arm implant in and so I'm not really sure how to date it. Haven't had any symptoms either apart from sore breasts (which seems to have got better) and have been pretty tired lately although that isn't surprising as work's been fairly busy and I'm too anxious to sleep! Got my booking appointment in a few days and don't know what to expect really or how they will try and date the pregnancy. Anyone else registered at Watford Gen?

Ninjamilo · 24/10/2017 12:01

Itry not to worry.

I found out at 5 weeks, boobs were slightly sore and I was really tired.

Now 14 weeks and the only symptom I have is the tiredness, I feel lucky now!

1234meg · 24/10/2017 16:44

I have read that symptoms still may not be apparent yet. But because I've had a miscarriage before and because I've seen so much about miscarriage in the first few weeks of pregnancy it makes me analyse everything and constantly worry
