Parent's intuition

Hi all
Bit of a fun one here
My partner and I are just getting used to the fact we are having our first baby and I've been playfully winding him up about it (he's always wanted children and is now so excited it's cute). I asked him what gender he thought it would be and at the same time, we both answered 'boy'.
So now I'm here to ask, how many of you guessed the gender correctly?

I knew from the moment I did the test that it was a girl first time round. Even when I had a scan and dr said it was a boy I was like no. She thought it was my preference but it honestly wasn't- I just knew it and was right. Was then pregnant twice-I thought it was a boy when I had my miscarriage and the other time I tried not to think as it was difficult. I'm now 35 weeks pregnant and we both knew it was a boy:)

Knew mine was a boy. Big old testicles on the screen when we saw the scan outbid already known for weeks.

My mum was 100% certain I was a boy. Until I was born. Then she didn't know what to do. I almost ended up being called Matthew (but have a lovely name now thanks to DF)

I don't think we can KNOW but I was pretty certain my eldest was a boy... and he was. I found out with my second (mostly because during his scan his bits were on full display as soon as she put the thing on my belly and she laughed and we all saw why). I don't know with this one, surely the odds are girl but having a girl scares me... I'm a good mother to boys, I wouldn't have a clue how to raise a girl!! Lol

I thought a boy.....turned out a girl.

I was right both times! I was totally sure that ds was a boy and I was almost totally sure that this one is a girl but I wanted a girl quite badly this time so almost didn't dare believe it!

Well you do have a 50% chance of getting it right no matter what you think

I was totally sure (and right) both times. With my second I even predicted that ‘she would have problems’ well, those were the words I used at the time. Unfortunately I was absolutely right but then again I am a natural pessimist and a worrier

I know there's no way to truly know until the scans but I haven't had one yet, I'm still waiting to see a midwife as I've just moved house. I'm about 7 weeks and I always thought I'd have a girl first but for some reason I honestly think this one is a boy. Weird...

Also my mother in law was absolutely sure she was having a girl, when my ex was born she even said "she's beautiful. Look at her" until midwife said it's a boy lol

I was certain that DS2 was a girl. We did not find out baby's sex at any of the scans. When he was born I looked at him and thought "Oh, it's you. Of course it is you. How could I have ever been expecting you to be anyone else." It was like I had been waiting for him all my life.

The funny thing is that he is a very confident and capable child. Many people have made comments along the lines of him having been here before. He seems to understand how things work and rarely needs to be shown how to do things.

My intuition is rubbish.

We didn't find out what we were having but I was pretty sure boy all along. I had a dream I gave birth to a bot very early on during pregnancy and I had all the old wives tales saying boy like the shape of bump, no sickness etc. I did indeed have a boy.

I was absolutely convinced I was having a boy throughout my pregnancy, even though I didn't mind either way. We referred to baby as a he the whole time. I didn't believe my husband when he said we'd had a girl at the birth! Took some getting used to!
