Just how wide and far inside my tummy can my baby be felt? Im 17wks now and just starting to suspect that twinges I am feeling are the baby moving. The thing is sometimes I feel one just above my pubic bone, or just under or near a rib, or on my side near my waist! Hope its not just wind! Anyone else had a starfish fetus?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Hi Puppie, I'm also coming up to 17 weeks and get movements in funny places. I think sometimes with me they feel like they are coming from higher up than they actually are... strange. Have you looked at the due in September thread in Anti-natal click here

I was sure DS was tap dancing in there, usually on my bladder until he got too big.
The first time I felt him move was just after I'd eated a cream egg, great excuse for eating more to confirm

: ) I've heard of the glass of cold water method but not the cream egg one....hmmmm must try it

At the end of my pg I had to go for non-stress tests twice a week, used the same method to ensure DS was bouncing about!
It's the strangest feeling when it starts, but becomes a sort of comfort like the baby is comunicating to you. I think DS used to say "leave the spicy pickles alone FGS".
Enjoy it while you still have a nice big bladder
