Few hours both times xx

Went in to early/mid phase of labour about 10 hours later first time round.
2nd time around I had bits of mucus for couple of days then big plug one morning and DC born by lunch time (sorry tmi!)

@AlwaysDancing1234 gosh - that was quick!

Although it was quick from plug going in morning to DC being born at lunch time the early labour had tumbled on for days with mild contractions and I was 1-2cm dilated at s midwife checkup 5 days before she was actually born!

AlwaysDancing1234 · 19/10/2017 20:48

tootsie is something happening with you? Good luck !

mindutopia · 19/10/2017 20:50

I never lost plug (that I know of, obviously it went somewhere, must have come out in bits), but show happened just as mild contractions were starting. My daughter was born about 10 hours later.

BexleyRae · 19/10/2017 20:53

Lost my plug at about 9am, first twinge at about 4pm, DD born at 3pm the next day

tootsieglitterballs · 19/10/2017 21:06

@AlwaysDancing1234 well, I lost bloody plug on Sunday, spent Monday & Tuesday getting gradually worse BH , then felt like they turned to contractions (every 5 mins, lasting around 40 seconds, starting in my back then round to tummy)

Went into hospital for a check up Tuesday night, doc confirmed definitely show, and that she might see me in a few hours, few days or a couple of weeks!

BH/contractions have petered off now, although still coming every so often but not as bad... who knows what’s going to happen next and when it’s going to happen! Need a blooming crystal ball if anyone’s got one to hand?!

35 weeks now though, so he could do with cooking for another couple of weeks if possible!

within an hour or two. he was here about 12 hours later Smile

ChocolatePancake · 19/10/2017 21:25

About 2 hours! I didn't get it at all with my first though, my waters just started trickling ever so slightly and then a few hours later... GUSH! But no show

AlwaysDancing1234 · 19/10/2017 21:31

As usual babies keep everyone guessing!
Hope all goes well for you Flowers

About 2 minutes! Walked into the kitchen at about 7pm to tell DH that I had lost my plug but before I could open my mouth my waters went all over the floor. DD was born lunchtime the next day.

orangeowls · 19/10/2017 21:36

Show at 8am, waters went and labour started at midnight.

user1471495191 · 19/10/2017 21:45

Each time I lost my plug after approx 2 days of painful contractions, but didn't go into confirmed 'established' labour for another day...

buzz17 · 19/10/2017 21:55

Waters broke at 5pm. Had only lost a little of plug at the time. Like barely any.

10:10pm I had my bloody show while at hospital.

Walked back to my room and climbed straight on the bed and started pushing.

I was rushing into theatre because everything was happening so fast.

DS was born at 10:25pm!

I don't even remember having a bloody show with DD. They had to break my waters.
