Spd & breastfeeding

Am really interested if anyone has breasfeed throughout a pregnancy & having previously suffered from SPD did not suffer during a pregnancy they where breastfeeding in.

I'm only 11wks, still b/f DD (16months) morning & night & I can already feel the first niggles of the SPD returning......

Not exactly what you were asking but might help. I am due tomo with dc3, and spd has been quite different each pg. E.g. second time I suffered really early, was at physio by around 16 weeks, and then it didn't bother me so much. First time was much worse in later stages. How much is due to being more careful and instinctively knowing how to avoid aggrivating it, I don't know?

I asked my chiro if there was any link due it it all being hormone related & different horones being released while bfing etc as so far so good for me but then i am also having regular chiro treatment so it may well be that. The chiro is really interested in spd, has done a lot of research on it & also used to be an nct bfc so is knowledagble in both aspects.

forgot to say that the physio said to me after birth of DD that my SPD would probably take a bit longer to settle down after the birth as I was b/f & b/f hormones can have a similar but lesser effect to preggo hormones.

BB, heard something like that before...chiro told me not right, she was also a bfc & done a lot of research into the subject & its not the bfing that causes the spd to linger post delivery as its different hormones. It certainly wasnt the case with me as I was pain free post delivery while bfing.
